Contests Prizes and Fun!

The elderly can often become victims of contests and sweepstakes, because we all like to win things and have fun and it would be nice if it were as simple as doing just that. Unfortunately, scammers know how to take advantage of our desire for fun and prizes in order to get personal information, worse yet, obtain financial information from their victims. And sometimes, it isn't really a scam but the offer gets us to buy things we don't really want or need in the hopes of winning a prize.

 To do our part to protect the elderly, we work to educate and watch out for our clients during our caregiving activities. Additionally, we desire to offer a safe outlet for everyone to win prizes by offering contests here and through our Facebook page. By doing this, we accomplish two things. It gives us a way to add interactivity to our Facebook page and our website because it is in our best interest that you visit often and stay in touch with what we are doing. But, more importantly than that, it is an avenue where people can enjoy contests and sweepstakes safely without fear of being scammed or taken advantage of simply by trying to have a little fun. You must 18 or older and a United States citizen to particpate in any of our contests or sweekpstakes. Other than that each contest will have its own rules, but these will always apply to any contest or sweepstake that we offer.

When you enter one of our contests, sweepstakes or play one of our games, you will be asked for personal information only for the purpose of delivering your prize (should you win). However, most of the time you will be required to pick up your prize at our office at 346 Main Street, Smithfield, VA. We guarantee and warrant these things to you:

1. Your personal information will never be shared or sold to a third party.
2. We will never ask you for financial information.
3. We will not use your personal information in any way other than to contact you about the prize (should you win).
4. We offer contests, sweepstakes and prizes merely to increase interaction with people so you stay aware of us and have a safe place to play.
5. We keep these contests simple. They are meant to be fun.
6. Our decision is final and we can suspend or discontinue any contest at any time.

Contests

Contest Deadline February 10, 2012:

Contest is for two tickets to a performance of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at Smithfield Little Theatere. In the spirit of the prize, share with us something to do with a Cat, a Hot Tin Roof or both, and if you can tell us what you think the theme of a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is, then you get brownie points. You can post your answer on our Facebook Page or you can mail it to us. Entries to win the tickets must be received no later than February 10th and you must be at least 18 and able to pick up your tickets at our office. Winner will get two tickets to see Smithfield Little Theatre's performance of Tennessee Williams Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on March 1st.
